Alex's birthday

It's hard to believe Alex is 4 already! We had a few friends over to celebrate. Although the idea of the party was better than the party itself (she always has a bit of a tough time when attention is focused on her), Alex seemed to have a good time.

Grandma's recent visit

Preschool

Alex started at a "typical" preschool in September. It took a couple of weeks for Alex to get into it, but she seems to really like it and requests to go. Yay! We just had teacher conferences, and they report that she is very comfortable with the teachers, and will call them from across the room if she needs something. While she seems to really enjoy playing next to her friends, she is still very shy and quiet. She talks about several of the girls a lot, so we are hoping to develop some friendships outside of school also. :)
